Discover What Sets Buick and GMC Apart

Buick and GMC are notorious for creating reliable models. It's not uncommon to see a classic Buick or GMC on the road today, running just as well as it did the day it rolled off the showroom floor. How do they do it? Darrell Waltrip Buick GMC is breaking down what makes Buick and GMC the perfect brands for drivers who want a vehicle they can always count on.
Build Quality
While you might never work on your Buick or GMC yourself, a mechanic would immediately notice the high-quality materials used on Buick and GMC models. From paint to engine internal components, everything was built for weathering harsh conditions. Hardware, rubber hoses, and interior materials are all crafted with the intention of serving Buick and GMC drivers for years to come.
Warranty
GMC
A new vehicle warranty is a testament of faith in the world-class craftsmanship that comes with every one of the automaker's new vehicles. Buick and GMC engineers really know what they're doing. Every step of the build process, from paper to production, receives meticulous care from the most well-trained technicians, so much so that both Buick and GMC feel confident enough to offer limited warranties on all new vehicles.
Every new GMC vehicle comes standard with GMC Pro Grade Protection, which offers a bumper-to-bumper warranty for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. Plus, GMC goes even further with an additional warranty on the powertrain itself, stretching as far as 5 years or 60,000 miles.* GMC Pro Grade Protection also includes the first two regularly scheduled maintenance visits on the house, as well as courtesy transportation options.
Buick
New Buick models come standard with the Experience Buick Protection Program. This new-vehicle limited warranty offers bumper-to-bumper coverage for 4 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. In addition, the Experience Buick Protection Program covers the powertrain on new vehicles for 6 years or 70,000 miles and eAssist features for as far as 8 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. Like GMC, the powertrain coverage for Buick models offers complimentary courtesy transportation options and the first two factory-recommended service visits. For those who want added protection, Buick and GMC both also offer an industry-first Extended Limited Warranty, extending your coverage for an additional two years.
