2024 Buick Envista

SCHEDULE A TEST DRIVE
Overview
Buick aims to get in on the popularity of crossovers styled to look like coupes with the introduction of its Envista in 2024. The brand-new Buick crossover comes in three affordable trim levels: Preferred, Sport Touring, and Avenir. The biggest differences in trim levels come with style and not changes in engines or powertrains. The top trim level, the Avenir model, sets itself apart with nickel-finished 19-inch wheels, a mesh grille, and other upscale finishes, making it appear more expensive than its price tag.
Who's it For?
With a starting price of just over $20,000, the 2024 Buick Envista will appeal to budget-conscious families looking to get into an SUV without much financial outlay. The Envista offers many safety and tech features found on higher-priced crossovers, meaning compromise is a thing of the past. In addition, the Envista offers quick acceleration and responsive handling, making it a good choice for commuting or just heading to soccer practice. For those willing to pay a little more, the Avenir trim offers a premium experience.

What's New for 2024?
The Envista is an all-new vehicle for Buick, debuting in 2024.
Real World Performance
The 2024 Envista debuts with a turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine under the hood delivering 136 hp. All trims are front-wheel drive with a six-speed automatic transmission. Since it's made for making its way through parking lots rather than up mountainsides, you won't see the Envista offered with an all-wheel-drive option, at least not for its debut year. The Envista doesn't disappoint, with spunky acceleration for getting about town, while maintaining excellent efficiency for longer trips. Handling is more reminiscent of a sedan than an SUV and the Envista offers a comfortable ride with precision steering and firm braking.
