What's New For 2024?
Most of the changes to the Buick Encore GX for 2024 include the interior and exterior styling. For example, both the front and rear bumpers are reshaped, along with a more sporty grille. New lighting elements modernize the vehicle’s appearance and make it one of the best-looking entry-level luxury SUVs. Trim levels now feature more advanced upgrades like black aluminum wheels and a flat-bottomed steering wheel option in the Sport Touring package. The engines remain the same and only minor changes to infotainment and suspension systems round out the 2024 upgrades. Much of what makes the Buick Encore GX so popular remains the same even in the new generation of this SUV.
Real World Performance
The standard engine is a 3-cylinder model that produces 137 horsepower. Upgrading to the Avenir package will include the 1.3-liter engine and the bump to 155 horsepower for a sportier ride. While this isn’t the most powerful SUV to pick up in 2024, it’s still responsive and easy to drive. Choose all-wheel drive for off-road fun while still having excellent fuel economy. The interior is sleek and features all the little details, like an 11-inch touchscreen, to make you feel like you’re in full control. A nine-speed automatic transmission is the only option, but multiple drive modes allow you to adjust the power in lower gears as needed.
